Amazeballs that is The Game of Thrones

Tuesday, July 31, 2012

I am taking a quick break from my Game of Thrones immersion to write about it. :)  Yesterday, I finished the first book and boy was I hooked!  I am now reading the 2nd installment and just got myself the season 1 dvd for later this week.

I know I am a tad late gushing about how amazeballs it is - but so what?! I am now enthralled.. So when you don't see me much in this part of the internet, please don't think I've fallen out of the face of the earth.  I am probably just curled up in my bed reading or watching the dvd. Ha!

Maybe... say hi sometimes? I'd love to hear from you.  :)

Unlovable

Wednesday, July 25, 2012

Okay, let me just gush about this for a little bit then I'll stop.  I got my heart set in finishing this book this week, I started reading it a few days ago but I got distracted by The night circus. :)  Yesterday - boy was I able to finish this book!  I wolfed it down!

This is pretty much an easy to read book - and so many parts made me really giddy! :D  I think that is the reason I am gushing about this. haha.

So, Yeah. *kilig*

The Night Circus

I love how magical this book is.  It pulled me in and won't let go until I am done with it.  All the characters are wonderfully created and the way each tiny detail is described just made for a beautiful telling of the story.  I am very much enamored by Popet and Widget and their red hair amidst the black and white background of the circus.  I was so enchanted by this book that I can't believe I waited this long to read it - it was just in my iBooks waiting for me to start. :)

“And there are never really endings, happy or otherwise. Things keep going on, they overlap and blur, your story is part of your sister's story is part of many other stories, and there is no telling where any of them may lead.” ― Erin Morgenstern, The Night Circus

Linking it UP

Thursday, July 19, 2012

I usually do not share the blogs I read because sometimes I just want to keep them to myself. Same goes for the music that I listen to. I am weird like that.  But today, lemme link my new found treasures!

Pictures of People reading - in New York! Can it get more personal? or Awesome?

This song is on constant repeat in my iPod.  The album is pretty easy on the ears too but this song - 7+ times a day.

I just had a mini marathon of Girls this past weekend.  After 7 epoisodes nonstop, I slept for 12 hours nonstop. I think I will continue on watching this one.

My parents are actually getting our house extended thus, renovating the kitchen and laundry area.  I am lusting after these small adorable kitchens.

I want very much to do this in my wall.

On HTML and such

Monday, July 16, 2012

Changing the look of my blog can sometimes be such a pain. There are a lot of free templates available customizable ones even, but knowing zilch about HTML - it just makes me so frustrated! I wanted so very much to learn HTML but was really too lazy to sign up for classes and too brain-dead most of the time to learn on my own. Ugh. So, i think I'm going to sign up for classes - as soon as I get a new laptop. :

That Post Birthday Lunch

Tuesday, July 3, 2012

Last week I turned *gasp* 29.  I didn't really feel specially old but the number makes me gasp a teeny bit.  I will get use to it for sure.  Over the weekend, my family and I drove to Tagaytay to have a post birthday Lunch.  We had lunch in Buon Giorno at the Cliffhouse, Tagaytay.  Truth - the day was full of eating and driving around. FUN!  Here are some of my favorite pictures from yesterday. :)
