So, over at Chuvaness she posted this test from Dr. Phil.  I like tests like this, I used to get excited when I get a new copy of Seventeen or YM magazine because they would always have quizzes like this.

10 (a) 4 (b) 2 (c) 3 (d) 5 (e) 6 (f) 1

Now add up the total number of points, check your total, and see how others see you.

OVER 60 POINTS: Others see you as someone they should handle with care. You’re seen as vain, self-centered, and extremely dominant. Others may admire you, wishing they could be more like you, but don’t always trust you, hesitating to become too deeply involved with you.

51 TO 60 POINTS: Others see you as an exciting, highly volatile, rather impulsive personality, a natural leader, who’s quick to make decisions, though not always the right ones. They see you as bold and adventuresome, someone who will try anything once, someone who takes chances and enjoys an adventure. They enjoy being in your company because of the excitement you radiate.

41 TO 50 POINTS: Others see you as fresh, lively, charming, amusing, practical, and always interesting, someone who’s constantly in the center of attention, but sufficiently well-balanced not to let it go to their head. They also see you as kind, considerate, and understanding, someone who’ll always cheer them up and help them out.
31 TO 40 POINTS: Others see you as sensible, cautious, careful, and practical. They see you as clever, gifted, or talented, but modest. Not a person who makes friends too quickly or easily, but someone who’s extremely loyal to friends you do make and who expects the same loyalty in return. Those who really get to know you, realize it takes a lot to shake your trust in your friends, but equally that it takes you a long time to get over if that trust is ever broken.

21 TO 30 POINTS: Your friends see you as painstaking and fussy. They see you as very cautious, extremely careful, a slow and steady plodder. It would really surprise them if you ever did something impulsively or on the spur of the moment, expecting you to examine everything carefully from every angle and then, usually decide against it. They think this reaction is caused partly by your careful nature.

UNDER 21 POINTS: People think you are shy, nervous, and indecisive, someone who needs looking after, who always wants someone else to make the decisions and who doesn’t want to get involved with anyone or anything! They see you as a worrier who always sees problems that don’t exist. Some people think you’re boring. Only those who know you well, know that you aren’t.

I scored 44 and here is the description:

41 TO 50 POINTS: Others see you as fresh, lively, charming, amusing, practical, and always interesting, someone who’s constantly in the center of attention, but sufficiently well-balanced not to let it go to their head. They also see you as kind, considerate, and understanding, someone who’ll always cheer them up and help them out.

If people think of me like this, I'd think myself as not half-bad at all! :)

Just Saying..

And sometimes without warning whatsoever loneliness hit you so hard you think for a minute you won't be able to get up again. A feeling clearly meant to awash your entire being.

Just several minutes of that very distinct emotion and a few tears. Just that and then you go back to regular programming.

New Adult

Monday, April 22, 2013

I read here that there is a new genre of books called "NEW ADULT" and lately, though I do not usually read romantic lovey-dove books, I find myself reading so much of it.  This year - HOPELESS got me wanting to read books like it.

So far, these are the books I have read:

This is a quick read.  Not a big fan of Chloe.

I've yet to decide if I'm going to read the 2nd book but this one I liked too. :)  Travis Maddox is reason enough, I guess.

This is okay but it did not leave me wanting to read more.

I love Layken and Will but while I was reading this, I kept trying to get the same feeling I got while reading Sky and Holder. I am not sure if I want to read the other books of this series.

This is an easy enough read but I wasn't excited about it.  My favorite parts are the scenes where Jason's family is present.

And with that my friends, I think I am going to go back to my regular programming.  No more love stories and more memoirs and historical novels. :D

I wanna gush about this book by Colleen Hoover. I literally just finished it a few minutes ago and my head is still reeling from everything this book put me through!  UGH!

This is incredible and if you haven't read it yet, do yourself a favor and get a copy!

Summer Summer

Sunday, April 7, 2013

The sun is definitely out today! It was soo hot I thought am going to be in a coma!

It was actually 38 degrees!!! Here's a picture taken from my new weather app Solar. Isn't is pretty?

Anywho, to beat the heat my brother and I decided to make some fruit shakes and bake easy pizza for snack.  Unfortunately, I didn't have any pictures of the pizza because we were wolfing it down as soon as it is out of the oven.   But for the shakes, we have watermelon, melon and mango to buzz with ice and simple syrup.

Here are a couple of pics. :)

Mango-Melon :D  Mango is my go-to fruit shake but since my dad got melon and I loved it, I added some to mine too.

Watermelon!! I wasn't very sure I'd like this but boy was it super yummy and refreshing! :)

Summer, I am not really a fan but more of these might make me a convert. :)

Eleanor and Park

Saturday, April 6, 2013

Friday, I planned on getting to work early but I started reading Eleanor & Park and lost all care for time until I finished.  I love everything about this book - especially the part where Park loved music and Eleanor not being the perfect leading girl. :)

Best Parts of the book:

  • Park and his mix tapes
  • All the holding hands they did
  • Whispering during their way to school
  •  Eleanor's curly red hair

This is a snapshot of my favorite part of the book.
